London’s air quality is among the worst in Europe, associated with the equivalent of over 9,400 deaths per year. Technological innovation is needed to clean up existing emissions sources, develop and diffuse alternatives and remove pollution from the air at hot spots.

To monitor and manage the status and performance of Mechanical & Electrical plant across multiple sites, and need to be alerted if system faults are detected or if maintenance is required. The process for monitoring plant status and performance in a timely fashion across multiple sites is labour intensive and prone to human error.

We attended the Institute of Physics 'Open Innovation' workshop at Durham University on 18th June and were amazed at the number of companies working on the collection of data via sensors. The development of sensors is significantly growing but the common issue is the feedback of data in real time and the display of meaningful data - something a growing number of organisations talking to us about adopting our real time remote monitoring using multiple sensors.
