VantagePoint is the world’s first and only integrated equipment and services monitoring system aimed at giving objective insight into the usage, reliability and status of any type of business-critical equipment or service provider activity.

A successful business depends on careful management of each of its finances, staff, customers and its premises. To achieve this, business managers are accustomed to having a range of sophisticated Accounting, Asset Management, HR and CRM Systems to choose from. But, until now, there has been no business oriented system available to provide effective and meaningful operational management of their premises and the equipment within.

Automatically gathering data directly from the equipment concerned, VantagePoint makes sense of what is happening (or not happening), where, and how often and for services being delivered, who is doing it, what they are supposed to be doing, when they arrived and when they leave.

The innovative technology developed by VantagePoint is our centrally hosted services where all your equipment and service event data is sent in real time across the internet enabling immediate action.

As the remote monitor detects a reportable event based on the input information provided and the configuration parameters set for each input, a packet of data is sent to a central web hosted application. Packets are sequence controlled and time stamped. They are stored on the monitor’s non-volatile memory until it receives positive confirmation that the packet has been received by the central host. From there, depending on your requirements, we can raise a specified critical alert message by email or SMS/text to nominated persons or we can simply store the event or reading for later analysis.

Events can be simple usage data, failure data or service visit related data.
Remote monitors are located at each item of equipment and provide any number of digital or analogue inputs.

You get access to a web based monitoring system where you can see the status of all or selected equipment/services and its location.

By collecting, monitoring and storing historical data, VantagePoint can transform the operational management of premises by providing:

– Automated alerts on critical conditions or events before things become too late or preventing the otherwise unnoticed by sending:

o Text messages
o Email messages
o Automated feeds to third party response providers or contractors

– Decision enabling objective information to assist managers in identifying exceptional (good or bad):

o reliability of equipment
o makes and models of equipment
o service provider contractors

– Automated Service Level Agreement compliance monitoring

– Automated data collection and input into Asset Management software systems

– Links to predictive failure technology such as v-belts, windings and bearings

A client only requires one core software application linked to any number of remote monitors allowing continuous monitoring of multiple locations world-wide and the equipment and services within.

Site Visit

The flexibility of our monitoring allows the facility to log M&E and FM services and when applicable, this data can be inputted into asset management systems via an API.

Switches

For all electrical and electronic switches we can connect our remote monitors.

Sensors

The development of sensors is significantly growing and for those wishing to connect multiple sensors and/or switches can utilise our technology.

Database - virtual monitoring

Inputs do not necessarily have to derive from the physical remote monitor: VantagePoint offers two further methods to interface with the remote monitoring system - virtual monitoring.

Monitors

Our digital monitors are either Ethernet or 3G enabled with the flexibility to incorporate either digital expansion boards (monitoring) or our analogue board (measuring).

For specific applications we produce bespoke monitors for our clients.
